Self-cleaning filter Cleandisc 1C/T for drum to dye
Self-cleaning filter Cleandisc 1C/C for drum to tanning
Introduction
This type of tannery filter, applicable to all types of existing drum, has the utility of removing, filtering in continues the float, all present solid remnants as: fleshing shreds and little pieces in the tanning float, and dust and shavings in the drum to dye (leaving always clean from the remnants the skins into the drum).
Description
The self-cleaning filter Cleandisc 1C/C or Cleandisc 1C/T produced from the S.C. Costruzioni Meccaniche S.r.l., consist in a subdivided tank in 2 divisions: feeding where convoys the water from the drum, and filtrate discharging, where the filtrate water flows, in the same compartment is make a special zone where is installed a lifting pump, necessary to the circulate of the float. Machine is endowed of a hatchback to approach easily to the pump zone.
Working principle
The effluent that comes to the feeding compartment from where it flows in the spaces between the couples of rotating disks. The liquid filters through the nets opening to the discharge compartment while the solid are retained between the disks. As the quantity of retained solids increases, they tend to form compact masses that, entering in friction with the inside surface of the net, exert a sort of self-cleaning action on the filtering net itself. Once the volume of retained material exceeds its maximum, it begin to be automatically discharged. The filtrate effluent is pumped and led to again in the drum. Filtering nets are thoroughly cleaned by a series of nozzles fed with pressurized water.
Removable disks ( patented )
Eliminating the central shaft and supporting the disks by means of guide rolls, it was possible to transmit the movement to each disk by means of couple pinion/crow where the pinion is fitted on the outlet shaft of the speed reduction gearbox and the crow is fitted on the rim of the disk. The speed reduction gearbox is assembled on the help of any tool. In this way can be cleaned afterward. In the eventuality of tears in the nets , the damaged disk can be quickly replaced by unskilled personnel.
