Discharge gutters for drums
The need of reducing the polluting materials conveyed to the water purification plant determines the choice of pre-treatment systems of the single waste liquids produced during the various working phases: some examples are represented by air recovery in limings and chromium recovery in the soakings of the final tanning phase. For an easier pre-treatment procedure, the collection of waste liquids inside the sections should be performed in such a way as to keep separate soaking and liming from the tanning and dyeing baths, as precisely as possible. In order to obtain this, it is advisable to install semicircular gutters on each drum to collect the liquids from the drainage valves. S.C. builds a complete range of discharge gutters made in :
- Special resin, reinforced with fiberglass;
- Stainless steel AISI 304 or 316;
The peculiar section of the gutter enables to contain the total amount of liquid discharged from the valve and therefore to limit the spreading of effluents on the floor the tanning factory.
Gutters of different dimensions are available, adaptable to every kind and size of drum. The support brackets are supplied in stainless steel and designed according to the drum base.
The fittings consist of deflector valves made in PVC or stainless steel , automatic or manual controlled. In the latter case, it is possible to automatize completely the selection procedure, so that only an operator, or a computerised control, can perform all the procedures without any intervention of the operator at the drum.
